Six stages between the frame and the finished seat.
No five-star testimonial block. The work either holds up at year ten or it doesn't. Here's what is between your fabric and your floor.

Frame inspection
The piece comes apart down to the frame. Joinery, dowels, glue blocks, and corner braces are checked for splits and rot. Kiln-dried hardwood remains; soft pine gets replaced.
Hammer · chisel · square - 02
Spring tie
Coil springs are reset on a fresh jute or polypropylene base webbing. Eight-way hand-tying on premium work; four-way on production seating.
9-gauge coils · jute webbing - 03
Burlap & edge roll
Springs are capped with 10oz burlap. A horsehair or cotton edge roll defines the seat lip and protects the foam edge from rolling under load.
10oz burlap · cotton roll - 04
Foam shape
Cushion cores are cut from 1.8 lb high-density polyurethane foam and wrapped in 4oz dacron. Down wrap on request. Cushions are shaped to the new fabric width.
1.8 lb HD foam · 4oz dacron - 05
Decking
A muslin deck is fitted under loose cushions to hide foam joints and protect the spring set. Tightback construction skips the deck and goes muslin-on-springs.
10oz muslin · cambric - 06
Welt & fit
Welt cord is sewn from the customer's fabric; the cover is dry-fit, marked, sewn, and pulled onto the frame in panels. Final upholstery tacks where the customer can't see them.
5/32" welt · double-needle topstitch

What goes inside the piece is what determines whether it lasts ten years or thirty. This is the build standard.
